Donation Appeal – Short
It might not seem like a privilege to self-quarantine or work from home, especially after a couple of weeks, but not everyone has that option. For one night, I am joining New Life Evangelistic Center’s Night with the Homeless and giving up my bed to stand (well, sleep) in solidarity with young people experiencing homelessness. As part of my Night with the Homeless, I am raising funds for New Life Evangelistic Center, where many people are being sheltered each night during these scary and trying times. New Life Evangelistic Center is committed to keeping their doors open 24/7 to protect our most vulnerable neighbors, and I’m committed to helping them. Donation Appeal – Long
People experiencing homelessness are the most vulnerable among us, not only to something like coronavirus, but to so many other illnesses, both physical and mental, that come directly from the trauma of living on the streets. New Life Evangelistic Center provides them with the life-saving care that they so urgently need, and their doors remain open for people seeking help.
I have joined Night with the Homeless and will be giving up the comfort of my bed for one night in solidarity with the people they serve and to raise awareness about the challenges that they are facing, now more than ever.
Our support is their lifeline. If you can, please consider making a donation of any size in honor of the incredibly resilient people at New Life Evangelistic Center. The beds are full, and your gift will be put to work immediately to help secure a new Safe House, provide clean linens and three nutritious meals a day for the increased number of people, and arm front-line staff with critical cleaning and medical supplies.

Donation Appeal – Reminder
In X DAYS, I am giving up my bed for a night so that people facing homelessness can sleep safely in a New Life Evangelistic Center Safe House.
I’m trying to raise $X AMOUNT REMAINING before my night out. These funds are critically important now more than ever, as New Life Evangelistic Center continues to shelter and protect people facing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
I know that this is a difficult time for everyone, and so much is out of our control. But it has also been a time of people coming together — however they can — to offer comfort and support. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to my Night with the Homeless page. Your support will be an incredible comfort to the people and staff at New Life Evangelistic Center.
